Magnesium Alloy

Magnesium is a metal that is highly prized in the production of complex, thin parts. At PSLLC, we’re highly skilled in this area. Magnesium must be handled with great precision. That’s why our team uses a superior sand-casting process to produce parts that can be as small as 1.5 mm and as big as 90 mm. Maximum poured weight per part: 300lbs.

AZ91E, T6 OR T6 PLUS

T6 magnesium-aluminum-zinc alloy is known for having good mechanical properties. Used for automotive components such as transmission boxes and electronics.

The T6 Plus is a unique recipe used mainly for prototyping. It allows sand molded AZ91E to imitate the mechanical properties of parts manufactured by the pressure die-casting process. Used for auto parts such as dashboard panels, doors, seats, etc.

MRI202S, T6

Rare-earth magnesium which retains excellent mechanical properties at temperatures up to 250° C, with especially good creep and corrosion resistance.

K1A, F

Alloy with good toughness, resistant to mechanical impacts and cracking. This makes it particularly suitable for attenuating vibrations.
